MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. In the following year, he became part of Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album the years following. He appeared later in 2021 in a duet with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, featuring the hit single La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and his older brother are musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele and piano. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian convinced him to take lessons in singing with an Cuban instructor and as a consequence of him discovering his gift as a performer changed the course of his life.
